Katie Perry & Elmo: Has Sesame Street Gone Too Far?

24 Sep

Yesterday Popstar Katie Perry was making headlines with Sesame Street’s favorite furry red monster, Elmo…. but it wasn’t the good kind of headlines celebrities who visit Sesame Street are use to.

Katie Perry filmed a rendition of her “Hot & Cold” song with Elmo which was later deemed too “risque” for the children’s program because of Katie’s cleavage.

What do you think?

She looked cute – almost like Tinkerbell – but I think that the top should have been just a little higher on her chest.

What is the difference between this dress and the one that the little mermaid wore. Neiter are appropriate for children to model after.

This seems to be the over all feeling. Wasn’t horrible- but could have been better thought out.
